Looks(sounds) like a good month

I don't really understand this, but I like it.
If anyone reads this and wants to explain, feel free!

Kelly Tran Mau

Kelly Tran Mau is a designer, artist, photographer, marketer, publicist, and creative guru.
That's what I want to be! She also has an ocean front office in Southern California, I'd like that too. In a nutshell, she is my idol. Yes, in a nutshell.
Here are some of her pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Here is her website, check her out she is rather fascinating.

Moral Delema?

Blind Melon just released their new album "For My Friends." This is their first album since the death of singer Shannon Hoon in 1995. I felt a bit of a moral dilemma while reading the review on Billboard.com. I know that if I were writing the review, it would be difficult for me to compare the new singer, Travis Warren, to the late and great Shannon Hoon. It's a feeling kind of like when someones dog dies, and they get a new dog the next week. But it has been thirteen years since Hoon's passing, so maybe I'm wrong.
All I really know is that "Life isn't a tiptoe through the tulips." - Sharron Hoon.

WALLAPALOOZA

I'm sure you have seen the flyers, but if not, Wallapoalooza, a fundraisor concert for project graduation is this Wednessday at WHS. Casual Wish, Lemon Juice, and Paper Ashtrays will be all playing the same place at the same time, and thats always fun. It is $5 at the door at seven o'clock.

More New Music

The sun is going down slowly, letting shapes of light drip from my walls to the floor. It looks like a distorted rectangle that moves a little bit every time a car goes by.
It's nice, and...
I just found out that Death Cab for Cutie is releasing their new album "Narrow Stairs" on May 13! The single off the album, "I will Possess your Heart," sounds as hauntingly romantic as the title suggests.
Ah, all these Spring time albums!

Whats with these homies, dissin my girl?

The alternative rock band Weezer is being very mysterious about their new album.
It has been reported to be released June 17, which is "very likely" according to the official Weezer site. It has also been reported that it will be self titled "Weezer," and the theme will be the Red Album. This is "a strong possibility but it is not for sure," according to the Weezer site as well. Just for the record, this will be the third album that has been self titled, out of a total of six.

One thing that is certain, the first new single, "Pork and Beans" will be released April 22, woohoo! Will it be another summertime radio phenomenon in the shadow of "Beverly Hills?" That will remain to be seen.

"We put a lot of emphasis on blowing our minds with creative freakouts" said Rivers Cuomo, Weezer front man, in a Rolling Stone article. Wow man, what a rock star. Weezer4life dude.
But honestly I'm a fan Weezer, especially right now as I listen to "Jamie" and look at the buds on the tree outside my window. Hopefully there will be pretty green leaves by the time the single comes out.

Its pouring outside...

...but if it wasn't I would be outside laying by the pool listening to Phantom Planets new song "Do the Panic." Mostly known for their song "California," theme song to the dreadful show the OC, Phantom Planet is coming out with a new album, titled Raise the Dead.

According to Rolling Stone, the bands front man Alex Greenwald "immersed himself in music by David Koresh and Charles Manson" while writing this album, the bands first in four years. Their album comes out on April 15, and it sounds like a goody.

So listen to their single "Do the Panic," it's on their myspace!
