Fashion is an art form

I apologize for the lack of blog entries this week, for the amount of school work, house cleaning, and packing for my spring break vacation to Disney has left me with little time for my own sanity. But the ambitious blogger that I am, + a 24 hour drive to Orlando with my family and laptop will hopefully result in a few blog entries based on the few resources I have, which include my own mind and the latest edition of Teen Vogue. Since I don’t have internet access on 95 South, I’m typing this as a Word document, and when I get to the hotel I’ll post it. I am currently in Maryland, just three hours into our journey, and just read an interesting article in my Teen Vogue.

“Fashion is an art form, like acting or painting,” said Camilla Belle in Teen Vogue. Belle is a Brazilian actress who will be staring in the upcoming film 10,000 BC. If she said it, I believe it, since this girl knows her fashion. The photos featured in this article are flawless, and her ensembles are incredible. The first shot is Belle sitting in what looks like an orchard, with tall grass and blooming flowers surrounding her. She is clad in a bohemian flouncy floral blouse cinched at the waist with a brown belt, and a lavender tool skirt. If I had internet access I would link them, but if you’d like to see them they are in the April Teen Vogue.

“I got really influenced by the girls there, [Hong Kong] they seem so happy getting dressed every morning,” said Belle. I completely concur with what Belle meant. A great outfit can make a person feel like a work of art. Pairing the right shoes with your outfit can feel like the right frame for your painting. Ah fashion, when I’m rich someday I’ll be right with Camilla Belle, shopping in LA, London, Milan... Until then, I’ll just keep blogging.
